Dear Pottery Barn..

I would really appreciate it if you'd stop flaunting yourself right in front of my eyes.  It's blinding, really.  I know you have every reason to flaunt, but unless I can afford you, I don't like looking at you

I don't appreciate the texture of that basket, or the beautiful colors staring me right in the face.  You've got my bank account worried, Pottery Barn.  He's been hurt before...

I won't even get started on the planks, because I'd actually like to get home on time tonight...

And how dare you exploit my love affair with numbers?!

I'm not even looking anymore...

Shame on me for wanting to peep in your drawers...

and I resent how you hide things so well....

I feel much better having all that off my chest, but, it still doesn't change the fact that I'd give up all my current furniture just to have you in my life.  *sigh*

Love always,   Jana.

Try living near that hussy, the pottery barn outlet. I can barely stand it. And neither can the husband.

You should count yourself lucky you have Pottery Barn. We have nothing like this in the UK. I have to rely on friends or family bringing me the catalogues back from holidays in the States. I've even resorted to buying some off ebay that's how desperate I am for a Pottery Barn fix. On the rare occasions I can afford to go Stateside myself I am limited (to a suitcase) as to what I can bring back. I am SO jealous of you all just being able to walk in their doors any time you like!
I've had loads of bit of furniture made for me based on Pottery Barn ideas and have just discovered an amazing blog - knockoffwood.blogspot.com. You have got to check her out. She copies all of Pottery Barn furniture then gives you the detailed plans on how to do it yourself! I am going to made a media unit for my kids TV room and I would never have even attempted this before I saw her blog. She will change your life!!!

You are cracking me up.

I feel like an addict sometimes too when browsing through a catalog. Because I'm thinking "I need this! Have to have it now!"

Beautiful choices by the way. Just lovely.
