Or should I say...CHEEP. haaa. While further investigating the old chicken coop out on our property, mom and I found about 9 old chicken feeders of various sizes. We had already been painting, so we decided to try out a little idea...here's how it turned out!
I will be selling these at our next market, and hopefully I can find some tiny white pumpkins as well as the orange! C'mon Montana!
I think I'll leave the next one galvanized instead of the black and see what it looks like. This cost me a can of spray paint! Woohoo!

Love it. I have a bunch of those in the garage and a perfect harvest table to use them on in the shop! Thanks for the inspiration.

a bad year for pumpkins I guess. We stopped by the patch yesterday and so many of the pumpkins were soft and rotten. I went to pick one up and my fingers went right through....ewwww.....gross!!

Love this idea. I also like the table.
I absolutely love old chicken feeders, and that display is just the reason why! Utilitarian yet beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Theresa xoxo

Love this idea; so nice and simple.
Ooh! I love that! It looks awesome on your table!
This looks great. I'm really getting into this decorating for Autumn / Fall lark. We don't really do this in the UK but I've been converted! There's a farm near us - I may have to sneak into the chicken coops at night and pinch a feeder!
