Dear Gus..

I love you.  I really do, and to think that you're a father now...it just blows my mind.

When I first met you, I think my heart stopped, and oh...how I knew you belonged with us.

You were a perfect fit from the very start.

But my purpose for this little ditty (if you will) is to tell you how close to the verge of death you are.

Uh-huh...yes...you, mister.

  1. Oh Gus - what a naughty boy! If you're anything like me you'd have left this mess for your husband to clean up! I did that once when our old sadly departed dog threw up in the house. I tried to clean it up but threw up on top then went next door til my husband came home and cleaned both lots up! Sorry - bit too graphic?!
How can you be cross with such a handsome man though??!! And he knows it!

  3. Oh I laughed when I saw that! My golden likes to disembowel stuffed animals and have found that scene with white fluffy stuff all over many times.

  6. I know it wasn't really funny when you came across that but I only laughed because I have had our fair share of those messes...how cute your post though:)

  7. Poor, innocent Gus....it was intruders, mom! Honest, they broke in, opened the bag of kibble, spilled it, and took off.

    *insert innocent, dog-eyed gaze here*

Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement on my blog!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
